WOW – so you’ve still got it!

Thank you so much for this wonderful YUCI anniversary celebration. There are many reasons why YUCI is able to celebrate its 30th birthday. But they all have to do with wonderful people – no, personalities.

First and foremost, of course, Roger F., who brings all his talents to bear on the restaurant business. Host, foodie, trend scout & trendsetter, entrepreneur, philanthropist, musician, change-maker – nowadays also known as a ‘mover’, a Duracell bunny, a dreamer... He took over the YUCI thirty years ago, steered it through tough times and periods of great success, brought it (back) into the Hotel Bellevue-Terminus, and has always kept it at the cutting edge.

All this could only have been achieved as a team. The YUCI crews were and are known throughout the village. Couples have formed, children have been born and many life paths have unfolded. Many of the ‘old’ crew members dropped by again this season and shared updates on their current lives. It’s great to have you all here!

Then there are the numerous musicians. So many bands have played at YUCI that we can’t list them all and certainly don’t remember them all. They’ve always put their own stamp on the parties and fired up the atmosphere. Just last Sunday, at the 2026 Easter Bunny Party, Generell 80 proved once again how they make it easy for us to dance and enjoy a carefree evening. A big thank you to all of you!

And last but not least, the guests! YOU. Thank you for everything.

Everyone has always been and remains welcome at YUCI. Locals, those with a second home here, and tourists. Regulars and those hoping to become one. Young. Old. M/F/D. Bus drivers, bankers, bakers. We make no distinctions here, and whoever shouts the loudest is served last. It’s the mix that counts. We believe that’s important. Always and in everything. Uniformity is bland and colourless. We’re more like funny, spicy and with a bit of oomph. A pub table and a cloth napkin describe YUCI quite well.

The 2025/26 winter season is practically history, and spring is fast approaching. So we’re getting the terrace ready, taking the BARavan by YUCATAN for a spin to iheimisch (14–17 May 2026 in Ennetbürgen), and of course we’ll be at FOOD UNPLUGGED (11–14 June 2026, Fürenalp valley station) – and we’re looking forward to balmy summer evenings with YOU.
